Q: My child and I are new to gymnastics. How do I know what level to join?
A: We offer:
Preschool Gymnastics Program (Ages 18 months - 6 years):
Base Camp Tots with a Parent (18 months - 3years)
Hill Top Toddlers (3 - 4 years)
Treeline Tykes (4 - 5 years)
Summit Kinders (5 - 6 years)
Recreational Gymnastics Program (Ages 6 and up):
Beginner 1 (5 - 8 years)
Beginner 2 (6+ years) (must have completed Beginner 1 and/or be recommended)
Tweens (9+ years)
Intermediate Level 1 & 2 (recommendation only)
Advanced 1 & 2 (recommendation only)
If enrolling in a Preschool Program class, please select a class based on the age of your child. There are no exceptions to the preschool age requirements. If enrolling in a Recreational Program class, and your child has never tried gymnastics, please select either Beginner 1 or Tweens, based on the age of your child. If your child has some gymnastics experience, but has lapsed, or it was not at Bounce, please contact us to schedule an evaluation so we can recommend the best class for your child.
Q: What should my child wear for class?
A: Children should wear a leotard or comfortable athletic clothing. Shirts should be tight-fitting or tucked in so they do not go overhead when the kids turn upside-down to do rolls or headstands. Hair that is longer than the ears must be neatly and securely tied back. No jewelry is to be worn. Children will participate barefoot as socks can be slippery on the equipment. Children should bring a water bottle into the gym and place it in their class’ designated water bin.
Q: Are makeup classes available if my child misses a class?
A: Due to Covid-19, we are no longer offering make-up classes or open gym.
Q: When should we drop off our child for classes?
A: Please arrive on-time for your program and line up outside your designated check-in entrance. The week prior to the start of your program, you will recieve an email assigning your child to a particular group and entrance. Your child will be greeted, have a non-invasive temperature check and Wellness Check and then escorted into the gym by Bounce staff.
Q: When should we pick up our child for classes?
A: Please be ready to greet your child after class at the same designated entrance you came into for class. Your student's teacher will walk the class to their designated exit, and ask each child to tell them that they see their parent/guardian before leaving. Once you have connected with your child, they will be dismissed.
Q: Do you have open enrollment?
A: Yes! If a session already began, your child is welcome to join in if an opening is available. You will be prorated for the classes that your child missed.
Q: What is Bounce’s ending enrollment policy?
A: All classes auto-renew into the next month. Members wishing to end enrollment from a class will need to write an email to email@example.com two weeks before the first of the month that they do not want to participate in.
• Enrollments cannot be ended in the middle of the month.
• There are no refunds issued after bills have been process.
Q: Does Bounce charge an enrollment fee?
A: No! You are only paying for the classes that you want to attend. All you need to do is sign up for the programs that will fit best for your child.
Q: When is tuition due?
A: All classes will be billed on the first of the month and auto-renew into the next month. Participants will be charged for the number of classes that they have in that particular month. Since tuition is calculated per class, your bill may show a different price each month due to the number of class days in that particular month.
Q: What happens if I fail to pay tuition?
A: Monthly tuition is due on the first of each month. In the case that payment is declined, Bounce will reach out to you and ask for you to provide another method of payment. After 3 weeks of no payment, your child(ren)’s enrollment will be dropped. All late payments are subject to a $25 late payment fee.
Q: Does Bounce offer a sibling discount?
A: Yes! There is a 10% sibling discount applied for the 2nd and 3rd (etc...) child enrolled.
Q: How does the waitlist work?
A: When there is an opening you will receive an email giving up to 2 days to respond back. If you do not respond back in 2 days, you will be removed from the wait-list. If your child is a current Bounce student enrolled in a class, but you prefer a different day (for the same level), you may add your child to one waitlist only.
Q: How do I know when my child is ready to move onto the next level?
A: Evaluations will be done in the Fall, Winter, and Spring for each class. To move to the next rec. level, the student must be able to safely execute at least 75% of the skills required at the next level and be recommended by their coach. If moving levels is deemed necessary during the school year, a manager will reach out to the parent. Following our Spring evaluation, instructors will recommend which level your child should sign up for when returning the following Summer and/or Fall.
Q: Does Bounce offer Private Lessons?
A: Yes! Private lessons and semi-private lessons are available. Please contact email firstname.lastname@example.org to get a complete list of coaches that provide private lessons.
Q: Do you have a competitive team?
A: No. We do not offer competitive teams at our gymnastics studio at this time. We are just beginning to build our community. Our professional coaching team can train gymnasts to progress as far as they can dream! If interested in competing, we will be more than happy to refer them to another great gym that offers team options.
Q: Do you offer birthday parties?
A: Yes, please refer to the website under the birthday parties tab or call the front desk for our party packages.
Q: Do you offer Open Gym for ages 0- 5?
A: Yes! Enjoy an hour of fun with your little one where the entire gym will be open for use as you and your child explore the space. There must be one adult with each child as they participate in open gym. We recommend that you reserve a spot online or call us since they can fill up quickly.
